Infrared technology uses light emitting diodes and sensors that are embedded in a bezel around the display and emit and detect rows and columns of infrared light across the face of the display.
An invisible grid is created of infrared beams and on the opposite side of the display from the emitters, photodetectors or sensors identify touch when the plane of the grid is broken by a finger touch (or other solid object).
The new HDi edge uses “Slim IR” technology to offer a modern looking, faster performing solution for the 21st century classroom.
Our new HDi edge series comes with 4K resolution, 4mm toughened glass and in-built Android for the best performance for your learning space.
HDi edge screens are available in different sizes to suit your school needs: 55″, 65″, 70″, 75″ and 86″.
